Part 3 Test of Instructional Ability
PART THREE TEST
Your instructional ability assessed also conducted by the DSA.
The test is split into two parts. During phase one the SSEADI will play the part of a partly trained driver, at or about ‘test standard’ and very shortly a driver who is looking for further training/updating their skills/seeks to improve their own driving standard. You will be expected to instruct him/her at the respective level.
Note. You must achieve a mark of ‘4’ to pass this examination
PART THREE TRAINING
You will require around 60 hours of training to reach the standard required. Almost all training for this part of the qualifying process is taken ‘in-car’ with no more than 2 trainee’s present at any time. Our instructor training is a ‘structured’ programme covering all aspects in a logical manner and with the aid of course notes issued to each trainee. Training ‘pupils to drive’ will essentially follow a similar programme. Our course, as with ‘pupil instruction’ is adaptable to cover the needs of the individual student.
The part three is considered to be the most difficult section of the qualifying process. Therefore a Trainee Licence, should be seriously considered.
