Your training options

When considering training as a driving instructor you will quickly discover there are all kinds of packages available.

You could sign-on with a National school like BSM with their own  in-house training packages and a position as a franchised instructor when qualified.

Or you may prefer the ‘colleges’ who will offer training and the promise of  ‘a position’ with a.n.other driving school at the end of your training.

Are you aware the National Pass Rate is less than 5% !!
It’s true, but don’t take our word for it, read the independent article published by the Driving Instructors Association “Money for Cold Hope?

Alternatively, you could sign-up with a regional school like ours and the guarantee of a franchised local position upon qualification.
Considering a career change?

Be sure to do your homework, fully understand what is involved, what is real and how much is hype!
Our credentials?

We have been established for more than 20-years and are by far; still  the largest driving school in Bristol and the surrounding areas - with an enviable 94% pass rate for parts 1,2 & 3 of the ADI qualifying examinations
Can we discuss your future with you?
If you are looking for a rewarding and worthwhile new career, with a professional qualification at the end of your training, plus the bonus of being able to choose your own flexible working hours - this may have just the right solution for you and with a Government backed loan scheme to help finance your training.

We can help if:

·
You are seeking a career change and want the satisfaction of controlling your own future with flexible working hours and an income commensurate with your own personal effort.

·
You are a struggling PDI trying unsuccessfully to pass your DSA part 3 qualifying examination.

·
You are a qualified ADI having difficulty in obtaining sufficient business to stay afloat either due to local competition or an unhappy franchise with another driving school.

In each scenario you could benefit from talking to Keith’s ....

·
Our franchised driving instructors enjoy the satisfaction of having as much business as they can handle providing a steady and regular income the whole year round, with flexible working hours, with paid holidays through our ‘Franchise free’ holiday scheme and with a spare car available to cover warranty repairs, accident and mechanical breakdown.

If you live in Bristol or the surrounding area’s and are interested in discussing your future, why not give us a ring to arrange a mutually convenient interview without commitment or pressure of any kind.  You can view typical work pads, talk to an instructor or two and ask any questions you like well before you are asked to pay money, sign or commit yourself to anything.
Ask questions and research first!

Good advice is to spend time researching your choice thoroughly before you sign anything or hand over a cheque, credit card or cash!

You will often be quoted the potential for a very high income as an incentive to join, in the real world you will find these claims can be vastly exaggerated. Also be wary of vague job offers, a job or position is no good if your income from lessons is insufficient to support yourself or family, look for a programme where the quantity of new pupils will provide you with a working week equal to that of other instructors within the school over a period over a very short introductory period of perhaps just 4/6 weeks.
